Culminating at 3,330m, the Mont-Fort glacier guarantees exceptional snow conditions and offers unique views of the main alpine summits.

Verbier also offers a vast range of summer activities: a network of over 400km of hikes, nearly 200km of prepared tracks for mountain biking, two golf-courses, paragliding schools, and a multi-sports centre open all the year round. Numerous events are organized throughout the season. Summer culture is written in capital letters in Verbier, thanks to the Verbier Festival & Academy. Since the summer of 2000, the residential orchestra has been the "Verbier Festival Orchestra", comprising about a hundred young musicians from all over the world.
